Beginning Meditation Class

The Beginning Meditation Class is an action-packed hour that aims to provide you with core principles of meditation that will allow you to feel confident starting, maintaining, and/or continuing a meditation practice.  Participants will leave this class understanding the following:
1) How to practice silent and seated meditation
2) The benefits of meditation practice and how to sustain them
3) How to train attention
4) A model of the mind
5) A functional posture for meditation

Meditation Mondays

Meditation Mondays is a community drop-in class that happens every Monday night (with the exception of some holidays).  It’s usually taught by Upaska Upali aka Paul, and hosted by group leaders when Paul is out of town teaching.

Each class consists of time for silent meditation, group discussion, and practice check-in.  All skill levels are welcome, and if it’s your first time meditating, you’ll receive guidance on how to get started!

Meditation Mondays operates on generosity, so the cost of the class is whatever feels generous for you but also allows you to attend as much as you’d like.
